Our Story

Jongno Bansanghoe is a home-style Korean restaurant tucked behind Bosingak, a minute from Jonggak Station — a place where a real grandmother's home cooking meets the everyday warmth of a shared meal.

Our Philosophy

We believe the best meal is the one that tastes like home. Soup is simmered and side dishes are prepared fresh every morning, so that a busy weekday lunch or a company dinner feels like sitting down at a family table.

The Food

Our bansang lunches center on smoky jeyuk bokkeum or deep, rich kimchi-jjim, with soup and banchan made fresh each morning. In the evening, tender bossam with spring-onion kimchi and Sokcho-style seasoned pollack anchors a table made for sharing.

Drinks & Pairings

Pour a kettle of nutty Pocheon dongdongju or a glass of regional soju to go with buchu-jeon and bossam. At weekday lunch, rice and makgeolli are free-flow and self-serve.

The Space

A spacious, comfortable room that fills with office workers at lunch and turns into a lively spot for company dinners and gatherings in the evening. Right behind Bosingak by Jonggak Station Exit 4, Jongno Bansanghoe is the kind of place you come back to.
